Let's face it. Real Estate can be a tough business. However, if properly set up, it doesn't have to be. It can be lucrative, predictable, and provide a balanced, and flexible, lifestyle. Just take a look at one of my agents who also has the second job of being a single mother. She not only balances raising a family, providing meals, help with homework, and everything else that comes with being a parent, and head of household, but she also averaged two deals a month while working here these past six months, and is now putting together deals virtually every week. Sure, she could do double that, and some agents here are doing a fair amount better than that, but she chooses a more balanced life for her, and her family. I applaud that, and like to use this example to show you how successful you can be here, even during the challenging market we've all been faced with, and with outside influences, and obligations to deal with. Every one of her transactions have been generated from customers the company has given her, and I'm thrilled we could help her get back on her feet.

Many of you have worked at several different companies, and continue to get recruited by others. If you think about it, virtually every other company out there, either fits the old traditional real estate office model, or try's to put a twist on it. You've got various franchises that dip into your pockets, and you've got independent companies run by brokers that also sell, and compete with their agents. They all want to try to make it seem like they are different, and can provide something of value that other companies can't. However, when it all comes down to it, they provide a desk space, or not, usually a front desk receptionist, and office manager, either some online training, or some other sort of training or assistance, basic brokerage type services, a copy, and fax, machine, maybe a couple shared office computers, and, perhaps, a few other odds, and ends, to try and help their agents with their careers. They're all pretty much the same, when it all boils down to it. Yes, some provide high splits, or even 100% concepts. And, so do we. However, there is always a trade off. And, for the most part, no matter what company you hang your license with, you're pretty much on your own to fend for yourself. Here's your desk, here's a phone, now go sell some real estate.

What I've just described, is the old, traditional real estate company that's been around for decades. Wouldn't you agree, that the world is different now? We don't sell real estate the way we used to. Either should a real estate company be structured like they used to be. For the last thirty years, I've been an innovator in marketing in this area. I've always tried to be years ahead of the competition in reading the trends, adapting to the various markets, and introducing new, and innovative ways to sell real estate. While I used to do this just for myself, I now devote 100% of my energy towards developing a better way for agents to conduct their careers. One that includes balance, a predictable income, less out of pocket expenses, and less stress.
